Welcome to Mike Schwab's Great American Bike Race (GABR) page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
The mission of the Sanford Health Foundation Great American Bike Race is to support children and young adults with cerebral palsy and other related childhood-onset conditions permanently affecting development. To date, GABR has disbursed more than $3.5 million to assist families in central and western North Dakota. We ride for Ty's Crazy Cowboys....in honor of Tyler’s favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys! Tyler is a strong advocate for people with disabilities and loves being actively involved in community events. We ride for him!
Over the years, GABR has supported our family with the purchase of a tandem bike and some medical costs. Larissa's students and their families are actively involved in the race and we are cheering and supporting them as well. The funds raised over the years have gone to purchase medical equipment, technology needs and portions of therapy services for the students Larissa serves across the district as well as many other students across our state.
We cannot thank you enough for your generous support. We wish you could all be there with us on the race day. The energy and excitement is something to see with your own eyes. Please know that we will be thinking of you on the race day and thank you for your support of the kids.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts. Please join us and make a positive difference in the lives of kids with disabilities. 100% of your dollars go directly to the mission of the Great American Bike Race and are tax deductible. While our team might not always finish in the top 10 teams for most miles driven, we usually are in the Top 10 for fundraising. Your support is greatly appreciated! You know Tyler will be telling this old man to peddle faster on race day! Take care.
